In 1986 we acquired a thirty year old worked out gravel pit and surrounding grassland with a view to transforming it into a recreational facility with a waterside pavilion and wildlife habitats.
We spent many years landscaping the lakes and land, planting thousands of trees, shrubs and aquatic plants to create a picturesque natural environment which now has four spring fed trout lakes, woodland areas and meadows all playing host to abundant wildlife and a lakeside pavilion and seafood restaurant nestling at the waters edge.
